Our mission is to foster the personal growth, empowerment, and athleticism of young people through the fast-paced, hard-hitting sport of flat track roller derby. We believe that roller derby builds character and bolsters self-confidence at a crucial time in children’s development. With an emphasis on teamwork and camaraderie, roller derby provides a supportive space for skaters to practice goal setting, to identify and build on their strengths, and to adopt an attitude of perseverance when facing challenges. At Ad Astra Junior Roller Derby, we take pride in helping to shape strong, empathetic young people who can go on to be a positive force in their communities.
